Formal Recruitment for IFC fraternities will begin again in the Fall Semester 2009. Please check back for Recruitment Week updates as well as individual events closer to the start of Fall term. Until then you may contact any chapter about informal recruitment or contact the Office of Student Involvement - Greek Life at 419-530-4036 if you have any questions.
Early semester pre-recruitment events:
August 18-20: Residence Hall Move-In. Watch for the Greek sorority women passing out popsicles. Many fraternity men will also be helping with the FROG program, which is a volunteer program that has upperclassmen help freshmen move in. Ask the FROGs questions about UT and Greek Life, as they are great sources of information regarding campus life.
Friday, August 21: Convocation
Wednesday, Aug 26 at 11-2PM: Student Activities Fair at the Centennial Mall - Learn about all of UT's great student organizations and don't forget to stop by the Greek life table. Greek students will be passing out free root beer floats and answering all of your questions about fraternity and sorority recruitment.
Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7PM: All Greek BBQ in the Greek Village
Come meet UT Greek students and learn more about Greek Life. Enjoy food, music and great company.
Fraternity Recruitment: September 14-18
Fraternity Recruitment begins on Monday, September 14. Men interested in fraternity recruitment should meet in the middle of McComas Village at 7PM where the IFC Advisor and IFC VP of Recruitment will explain the process of recruitment.
The dates of individual chapter's recruitment events will be posted on this page as soon as they are posted by the chapters. Also, the facebook page will be linked to this site in the coming days, so check both this page and the Facebook page for more information in the near future.
